Will made 6th July 1617

 My bodie to be buried where it doth please my executor.

My goods to be equallie divided into 3 parts :-

 1 part to Isabell my wife according to the laws of the realme

 1 Part for my funeral expenses.

 1 Part equallie between my 4 children – George Lindley ,Jane Lindley, Ursaley Lindley and Elizabeth Lindley.

 To Isabell  my wife during her natural life my house and lands in Chappell Ollerton and Potter Newton wherin I now dwell towards the bringing up of my sayd children, after her death, to William Lindley my eldest son and his heirs for ever, he paying to George, Jane, Ursaley and Elizabeth £5 each within 7 years of his accomplishing the age of 21.

 Isabell my wife  - sole executor
